Your Holiday Programme:

Friday - Germany
You'll depart your chosen joining point early morning for your channel crossing to France, arriving at your overnight hotel in Germany during the evening.

Saturday - Gyor
After breakfast this morning, you'll pass through the Bavarian forests then travel along Austria's Danube Valley to arrive at your Hungarian hotel in Gyor in time for dinner.

Sunday - Budapest
This morning your included sightseeing excursion takes you to Hungary's capital city of Budapest. Here you'll visit both Buda and Pest, which are divided by the river Danube.

Monday - Lake Balaton
Today's excursion takes you through the Hungarian vineyards to see Europe's largest inland lake. Here you'll visit the viewing point on the Tihany peninsular before experiencing the amazing resort of Balatonfured. During the evening you'll have an optional Czarda dinner with wine, accompanied by folklore dancing and gypsy entertainment.

Tuesday - Bratislava & Slovakia
Today you'll leave Hungary for a morning visit of Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, before crossing the magnificent Tatra Mountains into Poland, arriving at your hotel in Zakopane in time for dinner.

Wednesday - Zakopane
A leisurely day to relax and explore the delightful Polish resort of Zakopane

Thursday - Auschwitz MemorialToday you have a thought provoking optional excursion to the infamous concentration camp at Auschwitz, preserved as an everlasting memorial to those killed during the Second World War holocaust.

Friday - Krakow & Salt Mines

This morning you have an optional sightseeing excursion to the historic city of Krakow, before descending a preserved salt mine to see its lakes, gallery's and impressive underground cathedral carved from salt.

Saturday - Austria

Today you'll leave Poland and travel through the Slovakian mountains into Austria, where you'll check into your overnight hotel late afternoon.

Sunday
You'll leave after breakfast for your overnight hotel near the German city of Frankfurt.

Monday
Sadly, you’re coming to the end of your holiday today as we commence our return journey to Calais. After crossing the channel to Dover you’re homeward, arriving in your local area late evening with many happy memories and a host of treasured photographs.
