Your Holiday Programme:
Saturday
You'll commence your holiday early Saturday morning, for your channel crossing to the continent. You can then settle back into your comfortable reclining seat and watch the rolling scenery of northern France glide past as you travel to your overnight hotel in the Black Forest/Strasbourg region.
Sunday
You'll leave your overnight hotel after breakfast, passing through the dramatic scenery of Switzerland and Lake Como to arrive at your Lake Garda resort of Desenzano in time for dinner at your hotel.
Monday - Lake Garda Tour
Today's optional sightseeing excursion makes a tour of the Lake Garda resorts, calling first at Limone and Riva, before travelling to the top of the San Giovanni Pass to take photographs of the most panoramic view of the lake. You'll return via the lakeside towns of Malcesine and Bardolino.
Tuesday - Sirmione Peninsular
After a morning free to explore the 250 stalls of the open air market in Desenzano, your afternoon optional excursion takes you on to Garda’s picturesque peninsular, then across the narrow causeway to the en-castled resort of Sirmione. After free time to explore this enchanting town, you can return to Desenzano by coach or take an optional boat cruise along the southern coastline.
Wednesday - The Dolomite Mountains
This breathtaking optional excursion takes you into the high peaks of Passo Pordoi then through the dramatic passes of the mighty Dolomite Mountains, amongst some of Europe's most spectacular scenery.
Thursday - Venice
Today's optional excursion visits the city of Venice built on a maze of busy canalways where public transport is by water bus or gondola. You can travel along the famous 'Grand Canal', photograph the historic Bridge of Sighs and explore St. Mark's Square with its exclusive restaurants and cafes.
Friday - Historic Verona
Today's leisurely optional excursion visits the romantic 'Romeo & Juliet' city of Verona with its narrow cobbled streets, colourful terrace cafes, world famous opera house and impressive Roman amphitheatre.
Saturday
After breakfast, you'll sadly bid farewell to Lake Garda as you travel northwards through Switzerland to arrive at your overnight hotel near Strasbourg early evening.
Sunday
Sadly, you’re coming to the end of your holiday today as you commence your return journey to Calais. After crossing the channel to Dover you’re homeward bound, arriving in your local area late evening with many happy memories and a host of treasured photographs.

Accommodation en-route will generally be in business class hotels such as Hilton, Dorint, Novotel, Ibis etc., and will have full en-suite private facilities included.

It is situated on the shores of Lake Garda and overlooks the colourful yachting marina to the front and the historic old town to the rear.
